Fall Arts & Music Festival 2016
Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival 2016
Just as a reminder (and for new residents) – this Sunday, September 25th is the annual Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival.
It runs from 11am to 6pm and takes place on Washington Street between the south end of town and 7th Street.
Traffic hell for sure (coupled with Sunday football and draconian parking rules). We still think they should move this twice-annual festival to Pier A Park.
They say it’s a “rain or shine” event – but that has to be taken with a grain of salt – as once again you can’t trust what any government says (remember the 2016 Spring Arts & Music Festival was postponed due to rain?)
This year’s “headline” act is the blood pressure lowering Jazz-fusion band Spyro Gyra, along with the same old street food and vendor wares.
The one positive each year is the relatively timely cleanup of Washington Street (other than the cooking grease that gets shoved down the city sewer drains.)
You can enjoy at your own risk – or find serenity exploring the great outdoors in other areas of NJ, NY, CT, and PA. Hope for good weather conditions either way!
