Hoboken building demo speed record?

The the buildings near the corner of 8th & Jefferson Streets were sold a long time ago.

However, they remained standing while whatever bureaucracy was required in order for the project to move forward.

But earlier this week, demolition crews finally got the green light, and made short work of these free-standing structures. Literally took about an hour for them to be leveled.

Must be a Hoboken record. Maybe that Eglentowicz wrecking company had something to do with the efficiency?
