A Reason to Celebrate

Miss Temple has put Wallace on the map once again. In collaboration with Ms. Carol Shields from Stevens Institute of Technology, Miss Temple has been awarded a grant from Cornell University Lab of Ornithology to celebrate urban birds. Miss Temple is also collaborating with the Hoboken Historical Museum and is planning an exciting event to raise awareness about birds. An exhibit is in the planning process for October 2008. In the past she has won numerous awards including the American Legion City, County and State Teacher of the Year, Dwight D. Eisenhower Distinguished Teacher Award from People to People, and most recently has had an article about science and technology published in Connect Magazine.”
