Q- What do you call 500 Republicans at the bottom of the Ocean? A- A good Start. I have seen enough of the greed and bad fiscal and social policy of the Republicans over the last 8 years or 28 years when you count Reagan, Bush Sr. and even Clinton who sold the Democratic Party out of its progressive ideals. Yeah, the Liberals got things like public housing wrong but a vote for McCain is a third term for the most imbaclic, incompetent, sniggering douche-bag that ever sat in the Oval Office. The last good Republican that I remember was Jacob Javitts and possibly Jack Kemp. When the supply siders amd Bible thumpers from the Moral Majority took over the Republican party, we ceased to have a choice for intelligent minded secular voters that want fairness in government. How can any one properly educated in their right mind can vote for any one that comes from a party that is influenced by People who believe in Creationism as a scientifically valid theory. If you believe in a strong defense you should vote for a candidate that will stop the war on science that has happened over the last 8 years. After all America’s science advantage gives us the F-22s we need to kick the terrorists butt when we need it. Hope you choke on your ‘flatter tax’ funded dinners. Just kidding! 🙂 Heimlich anyone?
The Democrats have gotten a lot more wrong than you give them credit for. Just… Read more »

Why? Because we question what’s been presented as “fact” by people with every reason in the world to skew the data?

If you can tell me what’s been driving the economy for the last 8 years besides a taxpayer funded war and people selling houses to each other at ever increasing prices (all funded by credit via the structured finance industry), I’m all ears.
Thanks for the back-up Rag. Sometimes I wonder if I am going over the deep end.

Hey, can’t leave out all the mindless consumer spending on useless products, the manufacture of which further depletes our precious, dwindling natural resources and poisons our already far too degraded land, water, and air, and the purchase of which puts “us” further in hock to the banks, only to end up sooner rather than later in a garbage dump.

hyperbole runs into manifestation at a bar.

manifestation asks hyperbole, ‘what are you doing here?’

hyperbole answers, ‘to have a glass of Chardonnay and hang out with you, of course.’

manifestation looks puzzled and tells hyperbole, ‘get out of here, we have business to discuss.’

hyperbole asks, ‘who’s “we”? I only see you here.’
