Taste of Weehawken
This “event” had horrible marketing from the city of Weehawken (who’s site is actually a step below Hoboken’s). But it’s apparently being held at the Lincoln Harbor “Food Court” (by the Ferry slip, Houlihan’s, Ruth’s Chris, etc.)
Not that it has anything to do with Hoboken, since it’s benefit for the Weehawken Free Public Library Multi-Media Center. But it is close by for uptown residents, in case they were feeling “adventurous.” It does, however, feature 16 area restaurants, included the very popular Park Avenue Bar & Grill (reviewed by 411 in 2007), who will be featuring pan-seared scallops atop garlic fried tostones, coconut crusted shrimp with a mango-tequila dipping sauce and NY Strip Steak on a crostini.
It runs for three hours starting at 6:30pm and its $35 at the door.
