Trashy Hoboken!

Sloppy residents = trashy Hoboken

The side of the old Three A’s Restaurant (which has new ownership – Grand Vin), has always had a metal drum which was used to store used kitchen grease.

It’s still there, despite no active restaurant in use.

This can is clearly not a garbage can, since it’s fully sealed.

However, that doesn’t stop idiotic passerby from disposing of their refuse on it. And once someone starts – everyone else assumes it’s okay to continue piling garbage on top. It’s now become an eyesore as well as a public health hazard!

Why the city can’t just send one of their walking sidewalk sweepers over here is odd. Maybe they’ll clean it up after seeing how unsightly it is.

Why don’t the neighbors clean it up? How hard can it be? Just drag a can from somewhere else, like a park or the nearest street corner?
