Welcome to Hoboken

What would you think if you visited Hoboken for the first time?

Amidst the sprawl of “infrastructure” uptown, you have a small “Welcome to Hoboken” sign.

Next to a “big brother” camera, do not enter sign, traffic cones, construction rubble, chain-link fences and an astro-turf playing field.

What would a first-time visitor to Hoboken think when they saw that sign?

“Welcome all developers and sociopathic politicians?”

There isn’t enough room to put up a sign that says:

Welcome to Hoboken home of…

Over price, mediocre restaurants
Realtors who won’t tell you that your apartment is covered by rent control and that you’re going to be paying an illegal rent

Confiscatory Parking Regulation

The Home of the Tire “Boot”

A Mayor who actually Supports Over Development

Parks that are Neglected and Filthy

The Highest Tax Rate in The County

and much, much more.
