Do cops ticket other cops?

Are cops from other jurisdictions also immune in Hoboken?

I see Weehawken cops often uptown (especially at lunch time).

And pretty much 99 out of 100 times, they’re parked illegally in spaces you or I would receive a costly summons for whatever victim-less offense it may be.

But never have I witnessed an out-of-town cop getting a citation.

I suppose it’s a “Blue Code of Honor” they follow or whatever. But there really is no excuse for an officer – especially from a different jurisdiction – to break the law in Hoboken, right?

Oh well.
