What the heck is Le French Week anyway?
Le French Week New Jersey is the first of its kind. Oui, Oui, Je Speak Franglais is promoting bilingual and bicultural events ‘à la française’ from Monday, July 6 -Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
“I said to myself, ‘Pourquoi pas?’ (Why not?) New Jersey has a large number of French, Francophones, and Francophiles, so I wanted to bring a piece of France to the Garden State,” says Emefa Duho, founder of Oui, Oui, Je Speak Franglais. “I have organized other events promoting French culture and language, so I decided to create Le French Week New Jersey.”
There’s something for everyone to enjoy, from food, music, art, beauty to language exchange during this festive week leading to Bastille Day (La Fête Nationale). Oui, Oui, Je Speak Franglais kicks off Le French Week with CHOC •O• PAIN Bakery in Hoboken, on July 6, with a reading of Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham in French and English and ticket holders will also savor a buffet style menu catered by CHOC •O• PAIN Bakery.

Participating restaurants, such as Uncle Momo, Café Monet, Fricassée and Mes Rêves will offer prix-fixe dinner menus, between $35-$45 during Le French Week.
