Hoboken businesses make adjustments for road closures
The past several months have been hell for local establishments. And like any company trying to survive, Hoboken businesses make adjustments to the less than favorable conditions.
Take Dom’s Bakery near 5th & Grand Streets. They had to remind customers that they’re open, by putting a makeshift cardboard sign on top of one of the cones used to block the road.
While it’s good they “thought outside the box” a little, it’s a shame that customers need notices like this in order to even try to see with their own two eyes if Dom’s was open. People have become so lazy and easily discouraged by minor inconveniences these days.
Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.
We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
