What’s going on this week? Hmmm – the municipal tax collector reported that she received over $30 MILLION dollars from property owners last month. 30 frickin’ million bucks. What are they doing with that cash?

Additionally – the municipal court got nearly $400k in “receipts.” (Translation: Pick-pocketed from people who would have used that money to support local businesses.)

Plus, $100k to a company for “upgrading” the parking meter “software.” I’d laugh if some tech-wizard figured out a way to “zap” those meters out of commission. Too much more money going out to list. Read the documents and ask yourself if all that “redirecting” of your cash is something that you approve of (and if there are more sensible ways to manage a city.)

The residents should know that RBhalla violated rules of the Council by introducing a emergency measure by Zimmer. As with his other ethical violations he did not come forward and d be direct and truthful about it until his toes were held to the fire. In Zimmers world her neglect is an emergency and we suffer a loss a democratic process and ethical proceedings.

For a $100 million budget Hoboken gets grossly inadequate street repair and street cleaning, no recreational services for our Seniors, violation of ADA laws, a perverted legal and public safety system and debt to the hilt. What we do get is excuses, massive PR campaigns to cover the truth, back room settlements and an administration who has no respect for ethics and the democratic process.
