Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day – February 18, 2015

Continuing the “HPU Hypocrisy of the Day” category….

Today’s entry depicts a daily occurrence in Hoboken. An HPU “money van” illegally parked adjacent to City Hall. If you parked there because you wanted to down a few shots at Marty O’Brien’s before heading to work – you’d get ticketed, booted or towed!

Proof again that parking “rules” are not for “safety,” but PURELY for money for Don Zimmer’s psychiatric appointments and meds coffers.

The “mayor” herself recently bragged admitted that all these new parking thefts taxes fines fees are imposed to generate revenue. Which is why they “look the other way” when an obvious “safety” violation has taken place by “one of her own.”

Too bad people are overly fixated on fakebook to “starve the beast.” You know you all have the power to do so – but will never, ever do it until you allow all of your money to be siphoned away from you.

About Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day
The HPU Hypocrisy of the Day is a photo feature on Hoboken411.com.

Created out of need – this section features the blatant hypocrisy in the Hoboken city government. Get this – Parking “laws” were created under the guise that it is either for “safety of residents, drivers and pedestrians,” or to “make parking more fair for law abiding citizens.”

The city, however – VIOLATES those very same laws. The bottom line is THEY DON’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT SAFETY. They just want your MONEY.

You frustrated with the hypocrisy? Caught them on film? Simply email Hoboken411@gmail.com with your photo, location and sorry story!

Myself and others are angry about this hypocrisy you talk about all the time. Yet we don’t have the necessary influence because only a very few of us care enough. The rest accept government power. We need more people to take time out of their days to group together not by facebook but in person. Online numbers are far less powerful than physical bodies. Changing this bullshit is not going happen until more residents will take the time to fight it.
