Wyland Record Release Show – 2/21

Wyland Record Release show at Maxwell’s – Feb. 21st.

Aspiring local band Wyland is debuting their self-released EP recording You’re in the World, Get Off Your Feet over at Maxwell’s Tavern on Saturday, February 21st.

In case you have zero idea who or what they are – their musical style is likened to other acts, such as Coldplay.

Take a listen to one of the first songs off the EP, entitled “Wait.”

Here’s what frontman Ryan Sloan had to say about the song: “Wait was the last song we wrote for our upcoming EP and we couldn’t be more proud of it. The song is about discovering the beauty in being completely lost; a rather cynical concept I suppose. Through the combination of acoustic and electronic elements, I find Wait to be a beautiful representation of who we are.”
