Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day – August 6, 2014

Continuing the “HPU Hypocrisy of the Day” category….

These hypocritical moments must be the worst for the victims of such thievery (under the veil of “law”).

You’re obviously a small contractor trying to make a living, better the community or help a local business. Probably parked quick to drop off a heavy piece of material to the job site. You get back to see this ticket on your car five minutes later.

Then you see (probably the van that ticketed you), parked across the street – in a yellow/red zone. No financial punishment for them for what equates to “violating” the same asinine money generator law.

The problem here is that the majority “enables” this to happen. The only way to stop it is to stop giving them the money exactly at the same time. This is also why it will never change. We’re eons away from waking up a sufficient number of people to actually realize positive momentum.

About Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day
The HPU Hypocrisy of the Day is a photo feature on Hoboken411.com.

Created out of need – this section features the blatant hypocrisy in the Hoboken city government. Get this – Parking “laws” were created under the guise that it is either for “safety of residents, drivers and pedestrians,” or to “make parking more fair for law abiding citizens.”

The city, however – VIOLATES those very same laws. The bottom line is THEY DON’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT SAFETY. They just want your MONEY.

You frustrated with the hypocrisy? Caught them on film? Simply email Hoboken411@gmail.com with your photo, location and sorry story!

It is crushing for a small business or a homeowner getting repairs to be subject to these types of tickets. This is exactly right about the five minutes. Before you can even ask you visitor at the door if they have parked properly the car has a boot and/or ticket.

Residents of Hoboken being enablers is absolutely correct. No one holds them accountable. I showed up at the Housing Authority meeting and witnessed open and oppressive discrimination.
