Better Luck Next Year, Mets!

L&J’s sign hilarity continues: Better Luck Next Year, Mets!

The folks at Louise & Jerry’s have a solid reputation in Hoboken for creating the funniest and most clever sandwich board signs. Their simple word play like “It’s not rocket surgery,” and other consistently amusing signs allow them to stand out in a crowd of attempts to grab your (short) attention span.

Spotted this one last week, when after the NY Mets lost their first game of the season, they already “threw in the towel,” saying “Better Luck Next Year, Mets!”

That was funny even to someone who doesn’t watch sports anymore. Must have been infuriating to die-hard Mets fans. Haha!
