Hoboken Pizza Crack

Do you find the “Pizza Crack” statue creepy in Hoboken?

The newly opened (but not overly fancy) La Casetta Pizza over at 6th & Park has generated pretty much two kinds of sentiments from those who’ve emailed us:

  1. The $7.99 plain cheese pizza pie one of the best deals in Hoboken, and the flavor and crust consistency is “pretty decent,” and…
  2. WTF is up with the blubbery pizza guy statue and his pizza crack ass?

Do you think the statue is a bit too “revealing,” that might even cause some people to lose their appetite? We think it’s funny, actually. With all the political nonsense happening as of late, it’s nice to have a lighter perspective.

This is really funny. What I don’t get is, why would they position the statue with its back to the street, away from the approaching customer?
