Hoboken Photo Leftovers January 25 2014 Social Media Edition NJ - Hoboken Photo Leftovers for January 25th

This week – we share the love and include some images that were floating out in the social media sphere. Some nice snow shots, skyline pics and more! Without further adieu:

  • Photo 1: {#ANGLE} Can you tell where this photo of Lackawanna Terminal was taken from? Flickr user Chris Lord captured this cool shot.
  • Photo 2: {#SURREAL} Flickr user pmarella was along the waterfront walkway connecting Jersey City to Hoboken during this foggy time.
  • Photo 3: {#CITYSNOW} A little snow makes normally rough city streets look more appealing, as shown from Twitter user @betasbites!
  • Photo 4: {#PIERSNOW} Pier A Park seems to be a common “photo op” for many people, including Flickr user Nesster during the recent snow storm.
  • Photo 5: {#STOOPSNOW} Getting down the stairs in some brownstones in Hoboken can be tricky, as documented by Flickr user jvdalton.
  • Photo 6: {#VIEW} And in the header photo up top – Twitter user @x_MJB makes friends envious with the Hudson River views from the W Hotel (who has their new club LULU’S opening soon.)

Enjoy your weekend! Take a load off, and maybe a extra nap or two?

About Hoboken Photo Leftovers

Hoboken Photo Leftovers is part of the Hoboken411 Photo of the Day series.

These are photos that didn’t necessarily warrant an individual posting on Hoboken411.

They may have been related to other stories – or completely independent. These photographs are remnants of our travels in the past week. But equally important in maintaining an historical record of “life as we know it” in the Mile Square City.

At the same time, these photographs may also mirror the unique personal opinion of the publisher of Hoboken411.com.

Regardless, the pictures add to the “virtual encyclopedia” that this site now represents. Thank you for your readership!
