Hoboken Photo Leftovers for January 11th

Hoboken photo remains of the week: January 11, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers - January 11 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: {#FAIL} Wow! A traffic light went out (probably due to the cold weather) at Newark & Washington Streets – and it took three or four days to get repaired. What does the $100 million dollar + budget provide for other than Mayoral Aides and bennies? Nothing, apparently.
  • Photo 2: {#STRESS} What do you do when your favorite deli goes on vacation? Starve? M&P Biancamano’s re-opens this coming Monday. Whew!
  • Photo 3: {#SOURCING} Handbag depletion does not cause hunger. Which is why ladies are OK with Mario from Viola Vita taking his regular trips to Italy to get the next round of “ahead of the curve” fashionable handbags and accessories. They’ll re-open on February 3rd. (He avoided the Super Bowl Hoboken Huddle. What a shame.)
  • Photo 4: {#TREND-WHORE} The second “blowout zone” is progressing in Hoboken. Complete with “split pea soup puke” coloring! Maybe that is the next hair trend?

Any plans this weekend NOT involve electronics or technology?

About Hoboken Photo Leftovers

Hoboken Photo Leftovers is part of the Hoboken411 Photo of the Day series.

These are photos that didn’t necessarily warrant an individual posting on Hoboken411.

They may have been related to other stories – or completely independent. These photographs are remnants of our travels in the past week. But equally important in maintaining an historical record of “life as we know it” in the Mile Square City.

At the same time, these photographs may also mirror the unique personal opinion of the publisher of Hoboken411.com.

Regardless, the pictures add to the “virtual encyclopedia” that this site now represents. Thank you for your readership!
