  • Did you shop on Black Friday?

    11/30/2009:

    Was Black Friday a success?

Spent a good part of Thanksgiving weekend in various parts of New Jersey – and based on my observations, the “mad rush” to shop till you drop wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. Malls had less people, as well as less action at downtown shopping districts in Hoboken and other cities in NJ.

Did you shop during Black Friday?

    What about “Cyber Monday?”

A few years ago, the big online giants started their own big shopping promotions, such as Amazon.com’s Cyber Monday Deals today. I checked it out and saw some products that were reduced quite a bit. There are deals that pop up every hour, etc. Check it out – and help support 411!

    More delicious pizza for Hoboken?

Rumor has it that the owners of City Bistro and LUA have decided to take over the old Ted & Jo’s location which closed more than a year and a half ago – to open up a new Pizza Parlor (sans liquor license) sometime in early 2010.

If this holds up – how do you feel about that?

A simple landscape view of southeast Hoboken – where you can see both the NYC and Jersey City skylines in the background… Figured I’d snap this shot to have visual record before the 70-story towers are built near the NJ Transit Rail Yards.
