Another female assaulted

31

July

This time at 327 Monroe (apt# withheld). Beaten and choked. What’s up with the west side of town?

Apparently she didn’t want to press charges on her “man”. She gathered her stuff and the police gave her a ride to her home.

Sounded pretty bad. Ambulance needed in a hurry. Big crowd gathered. They love that stuff for some reason. Like a live showing of “Cops”. 655 6th. St.

That’s a block from the new Velocity buliding. I’d love to have that near my new $600k condo. Lovely.

Eviction notice on door. Must be out by 7/31.

I suppose when people buy $299 PC’s from Dell, they have no need for a $2,000 “custom” PC from a no-name company.
I also heard somewhere that they have some people’s computers still and they can’t get them back.

    Doomed.

    Hoboken stab arrest made quickly
    Thursday, July 27, 2006

HOBOKEN – A man was arrested Tuesday night after a pedestrian was stabbed during a quarrel at 14th Street and Shipyard Lane, said Sgt. Mike Costello.

According to reports, a couple was walking in the area just after 8 p.m. when a Lincoln Navigator turned the corner.

The male pedestrian – who claimed that the SUV almost ran the couple down – banged on the truck as it passed.

The SUV stopped and the pedestrian walked over and exchanged words with the driver, who then pulled out an 8-inch hunting knife and stabbed the man in the chest, Costello said.

The SUV’s owner, Brian Riccioni, 36, of Independence Court, was arrested at his home on assault and weapons charges, Costello said.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he received 10 stitches and was released that same day, Costello said.

I read this story from a web friend, whose site I read regularly. He lost his long time companion, Buddy. It made me sad, but it was nice to know he shared 13 years with this wonderful Lab.

For all the pet owners in Hoboken, take care of your beloved animals and treat them like you would a friend. No matter how mischevious they get. Because you too, could lose your friend as well.
