There’s a Super Bowl this weekend?

To many people, the Super Bowl is still a “must see” event, regardless if their favorite team has made it. It’s a party, a reason to drink & socialize, watch and comment about commercials, make some wagers, and of course, find out who the Champion of the NFL will be.
Myself, I’m a bit too busy to care too much about the Super Bowl this year, and have no problem doing other things.
Poll: What are your plans for the Super Bowl?
What about catering? Seems like a big business!
I’m reckoning many Hoboken residents are having or attending Super Bowl parties this year. Complete with food, drink, giant flat-panel TV’s and so on.
One thing you’ll notice along Washington Street are the number of businesses promoting their Super Bowl specials or catering options. I was wondering, with no local teams in the Bowl this year, whether the catering business or the “game” in general will have the same appeal as, for instance, when the Giants were in? And how has the economy affected such a business. Is there a time/value involved with catering? Or do people enjoy cooking for it too?
