Hoboken Photo Leftovers for November 22nd

Hoboken photo remains of the week: November 22, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers November 22 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: Looks like they had some structural issues over at Debaun Auditorium on the Stevens Campus.
  • Photo 2: Hoboken’s third place for “blo jobs” opens – Blo-It-Out on Washington between 12th & 13th.
  • Photo 3: 1415 Park Place also quickly reaching it’s final “identity.”
  • Photo 4: Amazing. CVS uptown only had ONE modest “flu shot” sign. They must be suffering since they stopped selling smokes.
  • Photo 5: The obligatory “road closed” entry of the week (4th & Grand).

Hoboken Photo Leftovers for November 15th

Hoboken photo remains of the week: November 15, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers November 15 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photos 1-6: Impossible to navigate Hoboken when half the roads are closed. No wonder businesses are struggling!
  • Photo 7: Dedicated “Thanksgiving” decorations are rare in Hoboken.
  • Photo 8: At least one business in town recognizes their customers. Wise Vision is now conveniently open on Sundays too!
  • Photo 9: Hmmm. I thought that wacky Tip Toe shoe store was temporary, but it seems the “for rent” signs are gone.
  • Photo 10: Memo: Halloween is over. You can remove the laundry off your apartment now.

Cold rain season is coming. Yuck.

Hoboken Photo Leftovers for November 8th

Hoboken photo remains of the week: November 8, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers November 8 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: Fall brings us nice colors – then is gone before you know it. Here’s a scene at Pier A Park. Check it out before it’s too late!
  • Photo 2: Pathetic. All those Board of Ed candidates.. Any of whom got no more than 4% of the population “voting” for them.
  • Photo 3: Rare. Work actually happening at the old Sinatra Cafe. Supposedly turning into an Italian eatery (owned by people who run a place called Queen Margherita). Just in time for winter!
  • Photo 4: PSE&G has torn up the roads so badly the past few months. All-time worst road conditions in Hoboken. All-time worst!
  • Photo 5: The downtown waterfront “Hoboken Skyline” is complete… As in.. “The collection of cookie-cutter buildings is complete!”
  • Photo 6: Manufacturing an “image” uncovered: You may be seeing a “commercial” for that nutty “Clubhouse barber” one day soon. They had a metrosexual on a bicycle as a “prop” for the video shoot. FAKE. We never see people riding their bikes to and from the barber. Such phony baloney. Goes to show you what demographic they’re going after.

Getting brisk. Maybe time for a nice new down jacket?

Hoboken Photo Leftovers for November 1st

Hoboken photo remains of the week: November 1, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers November 1 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: Hudson County seen doing a great job cleaning up Columbus Park. Maybe they can work on all the other city parks too?
  • Photo 2: Cork Wine enhanced their signage – which isn’t easy to do with the all the regulations everywhere these days.
  • Photos 3-6: The last of the Halloween decorations for 2014. We spotted a don Zimmer replica, funny enough. Can you spot which one?
  • Photo 7: Oktoberfest is long over, doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy an authentic German Beer, like at Helmers’!
  • Photo 8: You can throw a dart at a map of Hoboken, and some PSE&G repair won’t be more than two blocks away from where it lands.

Brisk weekend ahead, plan accordingly!

Hoboken Photo Leftovers for October 25th

Hoboken photo remains of the week: October 25, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers October 25 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: Weird to see Crumbs Bake Shop back…
  • Photos 2-5: More “unoriginal” Halloween decorations. Teaching kids the “easy way” is bad parenting.
  • Photo 6: The “Prime” convenience store dynasty expands. This time at Monroe Center they slap the “gourmet” buzz-word on it.

Perfect weekend to spend outside!

Hoboken Photo Leftovers for October 18th

Hoboken photo remains of the week: October 18, 2014

Hoboken Photo Leftovers October 18 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: Overall (and thanks to PSE&G) Hoboken now has the hands-down WORST road conditions in it’s history.
  • Photo 2: Maybe that church to condo conversion on Willow Ave. doesn’t look so bad after all?
  • Photo 3: Increasing the (infrastructure-straining) density of Hoboken one condo at a time…
  • Photo 4: It’s “Fall 2014″ and still no sign of the Riverside medical practice at Maxwell Place.

Countdown to winter… enjoy the outdoors while you can!
