umm, i basically had to do that in the city a couple of years ago. how absurd. a costume shop without a costume dressing room.

No fitting rooms....Or you can just get naked in the back of the store like a recent customer did while I was costume browsing. In response to lily731 who said:

Reminds me of The Onion’s top ten Halloween costumes for women 18-34. In Hoboken we can bump the age limit to 45.

I think one big mistake store owners make is store hours.

Ricky’s is only open 11am-7pm. Seems to me it would make more sense to be open until 9pm since a good amount of commuters aren’t back in Hoboken until after 7pm.

I know they’ll be flooded with business….but seems like hours til 9 would bring in even more business.

I went in the first day they opened. I guess the Peter Cammarano outfits are new. I think that's hilarious. I have to go back in there to see them. It just might be something that I have to pick up for Halloween. In response to midtownauthentic who said:

It's open now, but only for costumes. None of the other Ricky's staples are on display. They've simply set up a huge costume shop inside the old bank space. Looks like it's designed to close after Halloween.
