About Hoboken411 “Where is this?”
The Where is this? feature is part of the ongoing Hoboken Photo of the Day section on Hoboken411.com.

We try and find interesting or obscure visuals – and challenge readers attention spans by asking them if they can recall where it is located in Hoboken.

Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.

We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.

It is a photo of the crane above the demolished parking garage just north of Hess & BP.

It is from the large crane on Garden Street between 14th & 15th Streets. I should know since I constantly stare at it from my apartment window.

Those cranes freak me out. When will all this construction finally come to an end? When the city is under three feet of water?
