Monroe Street Block Party
3rd Annual Monroe Street Block Party – September 28th in Hoboken
As we mentioned yesterday – the Hoboken Mayoral Candidates have been set with 4th Ward Councilman Tim Occhipinti entering the fray last week. And he also sent out an announcement regarding a fun “community” block party coming up this Saturday.
4th Ward Block Party – Monroe St. Observer Hwy to 1st St.
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Our block party is this Saturday and we’d like to remind you to join us for a fun-filled afternoon! I would like to invite you to our 3rd Annual Monroe Street Block Party on Saturday, September 28th from 2pm to 6pm. Monroe Street will be blocked off from 1st Street to Observer Highway for the party.
Like last year, potluck donations of salads, BBQ side dishes, drinks, and desserts are greatly appreciated. Please RSVP with your number of guests and if you will be bringing an item to email@example.com.
This year we are excepting donations to help cover costs of food, drinks, music, games, etc. Please visit our event page to make a donation.
This year the party is hosted by the recently formed Monroe Street Neighborhood Association! CLICK HERE TO JOIN!
We’ll have live music performed by the cover band GRAVY TRAIN!
Again this year, we’ll have a bounce house and face painting for children.
We have created a Facebook event for the party so you can RSVP through Facebook as well.
Residents are encouraged to attend, as all are invited. I look forward to seeing you this Saturday!
4th Ward Councilman
