Free Hoboken Health Screenings – September 21st
Hoboken Family Planning and Mason Civic League are partnering to offer free blood pressure and free glucose screenings on Saturday, September 21st from 10am to 1pm at the Mason Civic League, 1200 Washington Street.
The health care professionals at Hoboken Family Planning will also important health information.
“After Hurricane Sandy forced us to close down our Hoboken office temporarily, we have reached out to as many community groups and non-profit organizations as possible in order to continue providing critical health services to the people of Hoboken and Hudson County,” said William Bullock, president of Hoboken Family Planning. “We are pleased to partner with the Mason Civic League to make more and better health care available to everyone.”
For nearly 40 years Hoboken Family Planning has been providing health care services to the residents of Hudson County and surrounding areas. Originally, it offered services just for women but has now expanded it services to include men and women for such issues as cancer screenings, blood pressure screenings, weight checks, pregnancy testing, HIV screenings, diabetes screenings and general health exams.
The Mason Civic League is a non-profit organization based in Hoboken that provides a wide variety of services and programs to people and non-profit organizations.
