Hoboken Labor Day Weekend 2013
Unofficial end to the Summer in Hoboken on Labor Day Weekend 2013
Welp. Another Summer about to “unofficially” come to an end in Hoboken. Even though “Astronomical Summer” ends on the Fall Equinox on September 22, 2013 at 4:44pm, the “Meteorological Summer” actually ends tomorrow, Saturday August 31, 2013.
Average temperatures will be going down from here on out. See? Despite all the global warming freaks, this summer was tepid compared to previous seasons. We had what, like one minor heat wave for a week? I don’t even think we barely cracked 100 degrees. Not bad, considering all the fear mongering!
Either way, hope everyone enjoys their “manufactured” holiday weekend, away from the prison sentence they call “work.”
And if you are brave enough to delve beyond your spoon-fed dose of sugar-coated BS in the mainstream channels – dare to look at The Truth About Labor Day. Perhaps a little shot of critical thinking might pair well with the burgers and dogs you’ll be shoveling into your gullets this weekend!
PS: Hoboken411 Mascot Oscar wishes all a safe & uneventful weekend. He wears shades now. Willingly.
