Hoboken traffic nightmare at 16th & Park
16th & Park – A Hoboken traffic nightmare
Several Hoboken411 readers have pointed out that, since the new traffic light at 16th & Park (part of the 1600 Park Project) was turned on – the traffic pattern has changed for the worse.
With this new light, now traffic stops on the bridge, and backs way into Weehawken on a daily basis. How can that possibly be good? What about emissions (for all those “eco” freaks)? What about quality of life (horns honking, etc.)?
One positive upside thought, with no traffic moving, your texting kids who don’t pay attention have a better chance of avoiding getting “Darwinned.”
Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.
We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
