Peace.Love.Pops brings organic treats to Hoboken
Peace.Love.Pops is a small cart which sells organic ice pops of various flavors. One thing you might notice about this stand, is that owner Joshua Ulmer not only makes these pops himself, but also donates a portion of the profits to a charity each month. Josh said that it amounts to between 50 and 75 cent for each pop, and the designated charity will vary month to month. Josh is also a head chef at a restaurant in Flanders, NJ as well, and is doing the Peace.Love.Pops on a part-time basis. But of course he has grander plans as well – and hopes to soon market his pops with some local supermarkets.
And as you might notice trending up these days is an option for dogs as well (Polkadot Cupcake Shop truck also does that).
“Peace.Love.Pops is dedicated to creating a unique Popsicle experience by bringing together culinary creativity, locally sourced organic products and living by what they believe in, “helping the world one pop at a time.”
Pops are about $3 bucks, uh, a pop – and are currently set up to be in Hoboken on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
