Chris Butler proved he still has it! He had a full band this year and the “Thommy Overture” to “Christmas (W)Rapping” was simply brilliant! Someone told me he is a big Who fan. Who knew?

Someone was up front and has video of this gem. We should be so lucky if they read this and decide to share.

The Gordys, as usual were hilarious. Matt Azzarto’s “Do You Know It’s Christmas” Brian Bellew and John Keim’s blues thing, there was something for everyone and I wasn’t there for everything. This is by far the best value for your live music money all year. Thanks, Gerry!

In the past this has been held at Willie McBrides and benefitted Habitat For Humanity. Regardless of the benificiary this event has always been lots of fun. A chance to see many local bands do holiday carols and songs in their own unique styles. Always a good party. If Geri Fallo felt the need to support the Jubilee Center this year, so be it.

Does the Jubilee Center ask for a lot of help? You bet. Could they find ways to use their facility to actually make some money? You bet. Despite all that, this is always a fun evening and generally turns into a great party. I look forward to seeing the Gefkins and Chris Butler particularly but it has been a while since Ted Lawrence has done any of his surf rock so that should be good too.

another fund raiser for All Saints Development Corporation. this guy has more fund raisers than Hillary and Obama combined! it seems like he operates a fund raising organization/realestate development corporation that just happens to own a church as one of it’s assets! i wonder if his tax status as a charity would pass scrutiny? 100yr old churches converted to condos…community centers that are really office buildings…ALOT of paid for by YOUR tax dollars thanks to the local pols! ans all run by a nut case that curses at people at public hearings!
