11/28/2007:
My recent obsession with Trader Joe’s has compelled me to begin this new (semi-daily) series: “Hoboken411 Local Product Reviews”.
I’ve shopped at Trader Joe’s before, but not as frequently as I have before the Edgewater location opened up. Since that location opened, I must have frequented the place at least 10 times. And I’m loving it more than ever. From frozen items such as pizzas and tacos, to the breads, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, and more, I am having a field day enjoying their products.
So beginning today, you’ll notice a new Hoboken411 category on the left sidebar called “Local Product Reviews”… It will grow (along with my waistline) as I add more products, locations and sub-categories.
They say that when you’re passionate about something, you should express yourself, and that’s what I’ll be doing!
Check back later for the first product review. Feel free to add suggestions or product reviews of your own (both negative and positive).

By far the best value for lunch and dinner is Mission Burritto on 4th street between park and garden. Clean. Friendly. Quick. Best mexican food in town and yet only the people from the hospital seem to know about it.

I always wondered how the food was at this place – looks a little shady from the outside…

Word of advice: the places that ‘look a little shady from the outside’ are usually the best places. That’s a fact.

This is more of a local service question. I have an area rug that I need cleaned. A while back my friend used Rug DRX – 201-420-0931 but I just called and the # is disconnected. Can anyone recommend a service that will come pick up the rug, clean it and return to my house?
