How’s Mayor Roberts doing?

11/12/2007:

Despite the ribbon cuttings and the occasional generosity from Mayor David Roberts, many people still seem to be quite dissatisfied with his overall “rating” for our city.

Problems with the bloated (and always late) budget, and general “mismanagement” caused one Hoboken411 reader to email me and suggest that we run a new poll about the Mayor.

Well aside from the obvious, “Was it really necessary to post that twice?”, I suppose I have to ask (again):

You recommend ignoring Strand, but can’t seem to resist responding each/every time he posts…why?

Obviously, the posting twice was unintentional (but I understand you have to find fault in others). No biggie.

When strand stops trying to intimidate people off the threads with his/her/its rabid, expletive-filled, lunatic ranting, I will ease up on my counterpunching. I promise.

these militant BNR’s all seem to suffer from some sort of neurological damage or something. we all know that the ground has lead and mercury contamination, and there has been chromium used in this city for over 100yrs…

recall is a very hippie liberal California concoction. it is counterproductive to the idea of having elections hold any substance. if you can recall a guy at any point during his FOUR YEAR (not lifetime) term, then an election loses a lot of its integrity.
vote him out next election. vote in the first place, in that election. if you voted in the last one (for those who didn’t, and presuming you didn’t vote for him), you wouldn’t have had this problem.

That’s a great pic. I love the headline too, like anybody would take that clown’s advice on what is legal and what isn’t.
