Every year, Hoboken’s Rita’s Ice (121 Washington St.) loves to commemorate the Equinox by giving away free regular-sized ices on the first day of Spring!
Think Spring at Rita’s Ice in Hoboken
So head over on Wednesday, March 20th (all day) to pick up your refreshing frozen treat. (Note this applies only to ices, not custards or sundae’s, etc.)
While you’re there – you might want to try a new flavor for 2013: Marshmallow Peanut Butter Cream Ice.
By the way, I asked the owners of Rita’s Ice how they’re doing in regards to all the “FroYo” places popping up in town (even though they’re a slightly different business), and they said they recognized the changing landscape – and have begun offering new products to satisfy their customers, along with premium toppings. They even have a “fixed price” unlimited toppings pricing model now – which a lot of their clients appreciate.
