Hoboken Snow Distribution 2013
Video: Hoboken Snow Distribution on Washington St.
Hoboken411 reader Jay caught the following Hoboken snow scene on Washington Street right across the street from the upcoming Anthropologie store.
Took place shortly after this miniature snow storm we had the other day (which melted away completely already).
It depicts a city worker “redistributing” some brown piles of slushy snow at the intersection. Referred to as the “Hoboken Shuffle,” something about this video is both painful, yet amusing at the same time. I really wanted to show the poor guy a better way of managing the situation. Maybe next time.
However – who do you think should be “responsible” for clearing the Hoboken snow off sidewalks anyway? Isn’t it technically supposed to be the property owners of each of the said buildings? Why is a city worker doing it?
