Hoboken Motorcycle Dog!
Have you seen the motorcycle dog riding around Hoboken?
During the warmer days this winter – I’ve had the pleasure of spotting the Hoboken motorcycle dog!
Never had the camera ready until recently, when the owner and his motorcycle dog riding shotgun where waiting at a red light uptown near the Berkshire building.
I asked if I could take a photo, and he said no problem. When inquiring about the dogs name, I think the owner said “Boogie,” but cannot be sure because the helmet muffled his voice, but he did make the “boogie” motion with his body – so that’s my guess. The breed appears to be of the Boxer variety. I wonder if other motorcycle riders driving behind these guys get slathered with dog slobber!
But what’s cool about this is that apparently the dog can skirt the NJ Motorcycle law of needing a helmet, since it doesn’t specify whether pets need them or not! I bet that helps him pick up some really nice bitches, too!

That isn’t a motorcycle. It is a scooter with a sidecar, which means no respect from the Harley riding cats.

This is hilarious. That is me and my dog. Yes, his name is Boogie. Greatest dog ever. We live over at Maxwell. Expect to see us around a lot this summer! And he does have a helmet, but he hates wearing it.
PS. I don’t need respect from the Harley guys. They need it from me.
