Hoboken bike theft ring halted; Police recover 54 bikes. Is one yours?

Hoboken411 reader Paul found out about a successful investigation and arrests made recently which involved over 50 stolen (and recovered) bicycles in Hoboken.

Cops caught at least one the groups that has been stealing bikes in town, and that 54 bikes were recovered. In order to make the charges “stick” better, they need to find the owners of the bikes so they can file formal complaints against the suspects in question. Without complainants, HPD cannot charge them with theft. If you were one of the victims who had your bike stolen should call the detectives bureau at (201) 420-2106, or head down to Hoboken Police Headquarters in person.

The only way to keep these petty thieves off the street is to file that report with Police. And you want your wheels back, right?
