Look elsewhere if you are looking for a dentist to extract your wisdom teeth. The receptionist was the most impolite, rude person I’ve met. The practise is totally unprofessional and misleading. Be aware!

That is too bad as I had a great experience with them when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Very accommodating and when I had a bad reaction to the antibiotics prescribed, the doctor was right there on the phone to discuss it with me, no waiting or hoping for a call back.

I had a wonderful experience at this office; I had my wisdom teeth pulled here; the office was modern and the doctor was really patient with me. He even called me that night to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything else. Sorry you had a bad experience gogo007 but I’ve only heard / experience good things.

I was referred to Dr. Spinnato in Hoboken by my dentist a few months ago to have an implant done – I had almost no pain, and it didn’t take long. I was back to work pretty quickly after the surgery because I wasn’t too swollen. He called me to check up on me and was really good about scheduling a follow up appointment.

Review: USE CAUTION when going to Dr. Spinnato. My friend, who is a dentist in Hoboken, sent me to him for an emergency extraction. When I was in the chair and still in a lot of pain even after the novocaine, he told me it would be $250. more to get me out of pain using gas. He did an adequate job with the extraction, but afterwards I was told that he wasn’t part of my insurance network, as we had thought. I wrote to him and asked if he would accept a lower payment and his secretary said no. So she and I agreed on a payment plan. I sent a letter to Dr. Spinnato confirming our agreement along with the first payment installment. He cashed the first two checks I sent and then, with NO WARNING or phone call he WENT INTO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT Christmas week and took out the remaining balance. He was able to do this by using the debit card number I had given when I paid the first 25% of the bill. Incidently, he did this several days after my friend, a dentist who sends him a lot of patients, told him that she had sent me, a good friend of hers, to him for care. This dispute is now being investigated by the fraud unit of Citibank. If he had not cashed my two installment checks and had contacted me instead to renegotiate payment terms, I would not find this so appalling.
