Hoboken FEMA meeting: “Gibberish”

Residents frustrated after Hoboken FEMA meeting

Yesterday, several dozen Hoboken residents attended what was supposed to be an informative and helpful meeting about the impacts of Hurricane Sandy over at the Hoboken High School.

Below is a brief Weather Channel report, which sums up basically how countless residents are getting screwed over. Even Zimmer supporter Ira Landgarten called the meeting “gibberish.”

Par for the course in the Mile Square these days, I guess.

We pay a $2,500 a year flood insurance premium which doesn’t cover any of the damage we suffered from this storm… Insurance Companies sure have quiet the racket.
