Big Thumbs DOWN for Verizon Wireless……currently useless in Hoboken!

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? (As the famous Verizon Wireless commercial that touted their stellar connectivity stated).

The answer is a resounding, NO YOU CAN’T IF YOU LIVE IN HOBOKEN!

When you contact Verizon Wireless Customer Service, they act as if this is the first they hear of this. You are put through a rigamarole to test, and see if your particular phone is defective, even though Verizon is quite well aware of the problem throughout Hoboken. The people of Hoboken have had enough already, can’t we just have our cell service back rather than the repetitive “I’m sorry” intermingled with the message: “Mobile network not available”. FIX THIS VERIZON AS IT’S ALMOST TWO WEEKS SINCE SUPER-STORM SANDY….CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? Please let all the other Verizon Wireless users in Hoboken know…..it’s not their phone, it’s their carrier..

That’s interesting… Meanwhile during the storm my phone with AT&T was useless, but my phone with Verizon was working.

Good Guy AT&T has come through, though. All Text and Voice overages through the end of November have been waived.
