Debate on Hoboken Rent Control Referendum – October 24th

Interested in hearing the sides for and against the rent control referendum that’s on the ballot come election day? Not sure what the question means? Confused by the wording? What does a “yes” or a “no” vote mean?

Head over to Our Lade of Grace School (5th & Willow) this Wednesday, October 24th – from 7pm to 9pm to hear the arguments live.

• Participants in favor of the referendum (i.e., pro-landlord): Mile Square Tax Payers Association: Ron Simoncini and Charles Gormally, Esq.
• Participants in favor of rent controls (i.e., pro- tenant): Hoboken Fair Housing Association and NJ Tenant Association: Dan Tumpson and Matt Shapiro.

And if you’re already in favor of existing rent control laws in Hoboken and support keeping them as is – head over to the Save Rent Control Concert at Maxwell’s on the 25th. No known pro-landlord concert yet that I’m aware of…
