Helmers’ suddenly closes

Helmers’ in Hoboken NJ closed until further notice
Not sure what the deal is here – but Helmers’ restaurant at 11th & Washington suddenly closed yesterday, and put a sign in the window that due to an “emergency” they’ll be closed until further notice.
Area residents noted that the police were on scene yesterday, but didn’t know why.
If you need German food – you might have to head to the city to get your fix for the time being.

Liquor license issues with the city shut them down.. they’ll be back soon.
