Tutu Project: Walk for Breast Cancer
Walk in pink for breast cancer in Hoboken, NJ – Sept. 30th
Love donating to charities, but are bored with the run of the mill fundraisers? Then you might be interested in this “Tutu Walk” for breast cancer this weekend. Read on if you’re man enough to wear pink…
The Tutu Project – Tutu Walk for Breast Cancer in Hoboken
The walk will take place on Sunday, September 30th. Participants will meet at 100 Sinatra Drive at 9:00am, begin a leisurely walk 1.5 miles through Hoboken at 9:30am, ending at Harborside Park.
After the walk, at 11:30am, there’ll be a brunch & book signing at Kolo Klub.
The Tutu Project was started by photographer Bob Carey in support of his wife Linda, a survivor. He created hundreds of playful self-portraits of himself wearing a pink tutu in unusual locales and they’re collected in his book “Ballerina,” which he’ll be signing at the brunch at Kolo Klub that will follow the walk. This event also celebrates the launch of The Carey Foundation.
The $75.00 donation includes a pink tutu for the march, and brunch at Kolo Klub.
