Crabbing for Cancer Memorial Fundraiser
Max Bracero Crabbing for Cancer Memorial Fundraiser
Max Bracero loved hanging out on Hoboken’s Piers – and was known by many in Hoboken. A year ago today, he succumbed to Colon Cancer – and his family is holding a “day of remembrance” for him today at the 14th Street Pier – as well as Pier 13. Read more below.
“Please join our family for a day of remembrance & celebration of the life of our loving father, husband, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend – Max Bracero.
Today at Pier 14 starting at 10:00am & Pier 13 Marina 1301 Sinatra Drive 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
Join us as we spend the day doing our dad’s favorite things on a hot summer day; crabbing, listening to salsa music, playing dominoes and hanging out with family & friends in his favorite spot – the Hoboken Piers!
The last time our dad enjoyed a full day of crabbing was on 8/29/10 and he passed away on 8/29/11. So please join us on 8/29/12 as we celebrate our dad’s life by simply doing the things he loved!
We will have various fundraising raffles & 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the Colon Cancer Alliance in the name of our dad, Max Bracero. Please support our efforts by attending the event and making a donation. Your generosity will help the Colon Cancer Alliance’s mission of battling colorectal cancer through patient support and education, increasing screening and public awareness of the disease, advocacy and supporting research for a cure.
If you have any questions about at our event please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Sincerely, the Max Bracero Family!”
