Violin on the Hoboken Waterfront

Here’s a nice video of Sean Kao performing Mozart’s 1787 masterpiece Eine Kleine Nachtmusik on the Hoboken waterfront.

He’s a violin teacher out of Morris County, NJ, but loves coming down to perform by the water in Hoboken, much to the delight of area residents soaking up the scene.

A regular fixture this summer, he’ll be playing sporadically here for the next couple weeks. Try and catch him if you can!

If you’re interested in lessons, you can call him at his Randolph, NJ studio at 973-895-4798, or email him at violin141@yahoo.com.

What? The violin playing or the hyper-sensitive tenants who call the cops at the drop of a hat?

Correct answer: neither – violin playing’s not that bad and the tenants are assh*les. Hooray!

:P
the violin playing….love how something about maxwell place gets brought up in every f’in topic on this site. do we have an obsession problem here?
1. Maxwell Place is on the Waterfront.
2. Apparently residents call the cops when anything occurs near them.
3. It was a joke, hence the smiley.

I think they have complimentary violins for serenading solos. Traffic white noise will back you up as orchestra.
