10th Annual Belgian Beer Night
Hoboken Volunteers Fundraiser: August 1st
Annual Belgian Beer Night to support Hoboken Volunteers
What began 10-years ago with a keg of Hoegaarden and Belgian mussels on my deck has evolved into an annual event that is not to be missed. Over the course of its tenure, we have downed dozens of pints while raising tens of thousands of dollars for worthwhile organizations such as The American Cancer Society, The Global Smile Foundation, Hope for the Warriors and the Hoboken Homeless Shelter.
The 10th Annual Belgian Beer Nite will take place on Wednesday Aug. 1st at the rooftop of The Dubliner in Hoboken, NJ at 7PM. This year we will be supporting Hoboken Volunteers, a terrific group that connects members of the Hoboken community with organizations that need volunteers. A $20 donation is recommended.
From NYC – Take the PATH to Hoboken, walk 2 blocks north to 1st St. NOTE – The band Mumford and Sons will be kicking off their U.S. tour with a concert across the street at Pier A park, with doors opening at 5:00. Details here: http://h411.co/m8cd If you’re planning on attending the concert, I hope you can come by before or after (or listen for free with a pint in your hand from the rooftop like the rest of us…)
Can’t make the event, but want to help? Visit http://www.hobokenvolunteers.com/.
The event is once again hosted by The Dubliner Pub and sponsored by the Boulder Beer Company.
