Ah, I apologize Elpico, I thought you were just another one of us H411 wiseacres – didn’t realize you were the artist. MidnightRacer’s right – I take it back. Sorry for the snarky comment.

No you don’t have to revise anything.

The cool thing about art is that whoever creates it also creates all the laws and rationale governing their work. Where science has experiements and peer review, where math has proofs, and where a country has a constitution and system of checks and balances, art has only one absolutist – the creator artist who frikin created the work – a reflection of their universe.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you what or how or why you create what you originate. While opinions from a spectator are valid in a spectator’s own rights to perspective, they are never correct in invalidating the artist. Your point of view, your creation.

I guess I could have stated that better. The jersey wearers perhaps are looking to connect with other people from their area, Philly, Pittsburgh, N.E.; Did you happen to go by Texas Arizona? Dozens of Steeler fans pouring out onto the sidewalk. Maybe it’s more about using sport to connect their past to their present. Who knows? 😐
I think it’s pretty funny everyone walking around in jerseys on Sunday; it’s a reflection of the “newcomer” makeup of Hoboken. Everyone wants to show where they are from, as they are longing for their past.
Yeah… no. Just because you have a connection to where you’re from, and where your from isn’t where you live now, doesn’t mean you’re “longing for your past”. Nice armchair analysis though.
