Where is this fallout shelter in Hoboken, NJ?
Wow – this is a relic from the past!
Back during the Cold War – the big propaganda fear everyone worried about was some kind of nuclear strike. There were fallout shelter signs everywhere, and even drills that kids had to do in school. Boy how times have changed!
You hardly see these signs anymore – which is why I thought this was a great quiz: Where is this in Hoboken?

They usually placed over the cellar stairs in most large apartment bldgs. I guess this one was never painted over or removed. it might be worth a few bucks on the antique roadshow.
