Fox 5 News likes Pan-Seared Crab Cakes at Arthur’s in Hoboken
Here’s some good news that Fox 5 News delivered recently (hard to believe, but true – it did NOT feature our ridiculous parking enforcement blitzkreig).
Instead, they featured Arthur’s Steakhouse, and owner Tom Barone cooking some Pan-Seared Crab Cakes. How fun!

Arthur’s is much improved since the new owners took over. Anyone that wrote them off in the past should give them another shot.

If they contract with a different meat purveyor now it might be worth checking them out again, but the last time I was in there three years ago I could not believe the horrible quality of their meat.

I gotta say I disagree. Last time there I really enjoyed it. Spoke with the new manager and they seemed to really care about improving the place and the food. Frankly, the steaks we had were really good and SO much cheaper than most steakhouses and I’d never say it was overpriced. If they get the place fixed up it’s gonna do well here.
