Family Farmers’ Market in Hoboken features Quail Eggs!
One thing I forgot to mention about the awesome new Family Farmers’ Market that takes place uptown each Saturday – is that one of the vendors sells Quail eggs!
I was initially creeped out by the odd markings and peculiar small size – but these things are delicious!
Upon first taste, you might think they taste exactly like standard chicken eggs, but after a while, you realize they’re more flavorful (maybe because they’re not genetically altered birds?)
The dogs loved ‘em too!
Have you ever had quail eggs?

Actually that’s an outdoor mosaic table with some leftover potting soil on it. But if you think that’s bad have you ever seen a chicken coop? Products don’t just come down from the heavens and land on a Whole Foods rack!
