How was your Labor Day weekend?

Hope everyone had a fun & safe time this past weekend. Some of you may still be off, using up some of those accrued vacation days to recover from the excessive partying, sun burn, and general lack of desire to commute to the office today.

I had a relatively low-key weekend, with the usual partying Friday night, sightseeing on Saturday, Arthur’s Clam Bake on Sunday, and having fun with my dog on Monday. I even played hoops with some local Hoboken High School kids over at Elysian Park. Although I had 10 blocked shots, I only scored 3 points in a 10-7 loss that had to end abruptly as my dog Oscar chewed his leash off because he thought I was in trouble on the courts. He was almost right, but it wasn’t that I was being assaulted, but rather I was immensely out of breath and sweating bullets. I had to carry him home on my shoulder 4 blocks!

Here’s a scene from Pier A park over the weekend. A relatively light crowd. But it was much more populated that Maxwell Place park, which had no people for most of the day. Some sun bathers came out to relax towards the mid-afternoon.

What did you guys do? Anything noteworthy & fun? Anything dirty & scandalous?

A few more pix after the break. Nothing exciting, however.

It was awesome – first weekend in Hoboken since May. Chose to avoid the crowds down the shore and relax at home. Hung out w/ the dog and grilled every day. It’s so nice to do nothing sometimes.

Mine was awesome — I was in Santa Monica — biked from SM down to Hermosa one day and drank some beers and ate some steamers. I also got DIRTY tan and swam in the Pacific every day. So Cal is so beautiful!!!!
